Arlington has the ability and processes offering Engineering Acceptance and registration for all rail vehicle projects. Arlington has the expertise to be nominated as a "competent person" by Transport Undertakings in accordance with ROGS. The scope of nomination to date includes a range of modification schemes, changes of use and ownership plus changes to maintenance regimes. Arlington staff have been authorised to change vehicle data on the national database ( RSL ) and have managed this for several hundred vehicles to date.
Arlington also has the necessary expertise and processes to formulate data and justification for all acceptance and compliance confirmation. This may be for national standards and rules, UK & European law and geographical specific issues.
Arlington is able to offer full Engineering Acceptance via a transport undertaking for all modifications and repairs.
